Baker McKenzie's Kyiv, Frankfurt, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Zurich offices have advised Bayerische Landesbank on a EUR 180 million loan facility to Primorskaya-1 and Primorskaya-2 Wind Electric Plants — members of the DTEK Renewables group — for a 200 megawatt wind power plant in the Zaporizhzha region of Ukraine.
According to Baker McKenzie, when both phases are commissioned, the 200 megawatt wind farm will generate 650-700 million kilowatts per hour of green energy. The operation of the facility is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 700,000 tonnes per year.
The Baker McKenzie international team was led by Kyiv-based Managing Partner Serhiy Chorny, supported by Frankfurt-based Partner Kathrin Marchant and Kyiv-based Associates Victoria Ischenko, Stepanyda Badovska, and Nataliya Tyschenko.
Baker McKenzie did not reply to our inquiries about the deal.
