Octavian Ionascu has joined DLA Piper's Romania office as a Tax Director.
According to DLA Piper, this consolidates the senior team alongside Partner and Head of Tax Tudor Nedelea and Tax Director Lidia Dutu.
Prior to joining DLA Piper, Ionascu worked for Deloitte as a Senior Manager between 2019 and 2025. Earlier, he worked for Carrefour as a Tax Manager between 2012 and 2019 and has also had an additional stint with Deloitte between 2007 and 2012 as a Senior Tax Consultant. Earlier still, he was a Senior Assistant at KPMG between 2006 and 2007 and an Expert at the Ministry of Finance between 2003 and 2006.
