Clifford Chance Badea has advised First Bank, owned by US-based investment fund J.C. Flowers & Co., on its acquisition of Bank Leumi Romania.
The deal is to be finalized following the approval of the National Bank of Romania and the Romanian Competition Council.
The Clifford Chance Badea team was coordinated by Managing Partner Daniel Badea and Counsel Loredana Ralea and consisted of Partner Madalina Rachieru-Postolache, Senior Associates Radu Costin, Ecaterina Burlacu, Bogdan Creteanu, and Lawyers Gabriela Muresan, Mihnea Niculescu, and Maria Ciulica.
