As part of its latest promotions round, Dentons has elevated Karolina Cotronei, Ali Can Goren, Baris Yuksel, and Kamran Pirani to Partner.
Warsaw-based Karolina Cotronei focuses on intellectual property, data, and technology. She has been with the firm since 2021 when she joined as a Senior Associate before becoming a Counsel in 2024. Earlier, she worked for Hertz as a Trainee Solicitor between 2014 and 2016, a Legal Counsel between 2016 and 2019, and a Director, Senior Legal Counsel between 2019 and 2021.
Budapest-based Kamran Pirani focuses on corporate and M&A. He has been with the team since 2014, working as an Associate with White & Case between 2014 and 2016 and as a Counsel since the White & Case Budapest office joined Dentons in 2017. Earlier, he worked for Baker McKenzie as a Trainee Solicitor between 2012 and 2014.
Istanbul-based Ali Can Goren and Baris Yuksel have been promoted to Partner with Dentons' Turkish affiliate law firm of Balcioglu Selcuk Eymirlioglu Ardiyok Keki Attorney Partnership.
Goren's area of focus is real estate. He joined the firm as a Legal Intern in 2012 and became an Associate in 2013, a Senior Associate in 2019, and Counsel in 2022.
Yuksel, who focuses on competition and antitrust/trade, has been with the firm since 2021 when he joined as an Of Counsel. Earlier, he was with ELIG Gurkaynak as Counsel between 2020 and 2021 and with Actecon as a Senior Associate between 2017 and 2020. Earlier still, he had another stint with BASEAK as an Associate between 2013 and 2017.
