Kinstellar has advised MVM on the sale of its entire stake in telecommunications subsidiary MVM NET to Pro-M. DLA Piper advised Pro-M.

MVM is a Hungarian state-owned energy group. MVM NET operates a nationwide infrastructure network, delivering communications services to the energy sector and public institutions across Hungary. According to Kinstellar, the divestment marks a strategic step for MVM as it refocuses on core energy operations.

Earlier in 2025, Kinstellar advised MVM Group on a CCGT power plant project at the Tisza power plant (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on May 7, 2025) as well as on CCGT power plant development (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on March 6, 2025).

The Kinstellar team included Partner Gabor Gelencser, Counsel Laszlo Palocz, and Managing Associate Aron Barta.

The DLA Piper team included Partner Gabor Molnar and Senior Associates Gabor Spitz and Tamas Szkiba
