AIR ARABIA WAS FOUND COMPLIANT DURING A RECENT PROCEDURE OF PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA ACROSS THE EU
Mitko Karushkov advised the Air Arabia Group on a complex matter on data protection procedures related to the Group's information system.
Thanks to the joint efforts of Mitko Karushkov, Air Arabia's IT team, as well as Air Arabia's legal team within and beyond the EU, the procedures did not affect any of the millions customers of the Group.
No harm can be reported to any of Air Arabia's suppliers, partners, and business partners, either.
As Air Arabia Group didn't have any corporate establishment within the European Union, managing the case, including the related regulatory commitments of Air Arabia as data controller, required a profound equanimity - in addition to the flash (and adequate) legal, business and communication commitments.
Mitko Karushkov also represented the companies withn Air Arabia's Group vis-à-vis the Bulgarian Data Protection Authority within the procedure as per art. 33 of the EU GDPR.
Advising, dealing with and managing both the data incident and the legal procedures lasted quite some time and completed successfully for Air Arabia, its customers, partners, suppliers and management.
