Weinhold Legal has successfully represented the City of Kladno before the Czech Republic's Supreme Administrative Court in a dispute regarding the determination of the municipality's contribution to transport services on intercity bus routes.
According to the firm, the SAC ruled in favor of the Statutory City of Kladno in "a unique case in which the court has, for the first time, laid down clear rules regarding the provision and financing of transport services by the [Central Bohemian Region] and the municipalities in its district."
The court "overturned the incorrect views of the Central Bohemian Region, including the region's view that it has the right to determine the extent to which a municipality will contribute to intercity services," Weinhold Legal reported.
The Weinhold Legal team was led by Partner Martin Lukas and included Senior Associates Michal Przeczek and Barbora Pacakova.
