Wolf Theiss Advises SoftBank Group on Planned USD 6.5 Billion Acquisition of Ampere Computing

Wolf Theiss, working with Morrison Foerster, has advised SoftBank Group Corp on its planned all‑cash acquisition of Ampere Computing from lead investors Carlyle and Oracle Corp.

The transaction remains contingent on regulatory approval.

According to Wolf Theiss, under the agreement, Ampere will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of SoftBank Group and continue operating under its existing name. 

The Wolf Theiss team included Partners Katarzyna Wojcik‑Bakowska and Krzysztof Libiszewski and Senior Associate Katarzyna Jaroszynska‑Lewandowska and Bartosz Lewandowski.
