Lawyers from CMS in Ukraine and Poland have joined the firm's multi-national team advising the EBRD on the acquisition of a stake in Uzbek food retailer Korzinka. Uzbek law firm Leges reportedly advised the EBRD as well, while Dentons advised the sellers.

Dentons and Kirkland & Ellis have represented GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, on the acquisition of the Maximus logistics real estate portfolio from funds managed by Apollo Global Management, a US-based private equity firm. Noerr advised the sellers on the transaction, which was signed in December 2019 and closed on January 31, 2020, and which was valued at approximately EUR 950 million.

Linklaters has advised Chariot Group B.V. on the sale of DIY stores leased by OBI located in Gdansk and Lodz, with a total gross leasable area of 18,300 square meters, to a subsidiary of Marr Holdings, a company from the Republic of South Africa. Dentons reportedly advised the buyers.

Studnicki Pleszka, Cwiakalski, Gorski has advised French renewable energy producer Akuo Energy on financing it received for the construction of three wind farms with a total power of 132 MW from the Mirova Eurofideme 4 fund and a consortium of BNP Paribas Bank Polska, Commerzbank, and mBank. Dentons reportedly advised Akuo as well, and the bank consortium was advised by Allen & Overy.

Dentons has advised Enlight Renewable Energy on the construction and EUR 115 million financing of the 105 MW Selac wind farm in Kosovo. The EBRD provided EUR 57 million of the total amount, with Erste Group Bank and NLB Bank providing the remaining EUR 58 million, and with coverage provided by the German export credit agency Euler Hermes. The lenders were reportedly advised by White & Case.

Dentons and Simpson Thacher have advised Round Hill Capital and Blackstone Tactical Opportunities on the sale of a EUR 1.3 billion residential real estate portfolio in the Czech Republic to Swedish real estate company Heimstaden Bostad AB, which was advised by Clifford Chance. 

Dentons has advised Skanska on the sale of an office building in Poznan's Nowy Rynek complex, located at the site of Poznan’s former central coach station, to the French fund Corum XL. DWF advised Corum XL on the deal.

Dentons has advised commercial real estate investor and developer Globe Trade Centre on its sale of shares in GTC Neptune Gdansk Sp. z o.o. – the owner of the Neptun Office Center in Gdansk. Greenberg Traurig reportedly advised the unnamed buyers.

Clifford Chance and Kochanski & Partners have advised AccorInvest Group S.A. on its purchase of shares in Polish hotel chain Orbis S.A. from Accor S.A. and Accor Polska sp. z o.o. Dentons and Ellex Valiunas advised Orbis, and Accor was advised by De Pardieu, Weil, Gotshal & Manges, Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier, Gide Loyrette Nouel, and Ellex Valiunas on the December 16, 2019 transaction, which remains subject to antitrust clearance by the European Commission.
