Stratulat Albulescu has advised the GapMinder Venture Partners Fund II on investing in Genezio in a USD 2 million round that included Underline Ventures and other angel investors.

GapMinder is a venture capital fund that aims at providing capital in Seed and Series A rounds for Romanian-born start-up companies in the technology sector.

Founded in 2023 by Andrei Pitis, Bogdan Ripa, Bogdan Vlad, and Paula Cionca, Bucharest-based Genezio develops a platform for full-stack developers. The start-up provides various environments, databases, and authentication, giving users the tools to build, deploy, test, and scale their apps.

According to Stratulat Albulescu, "this is the first investment made by GapMinder Ventures from their second fund, which was launched in 2024 and has a size of EUR 80 million. With this funding of USD 2 million, Genezio will implement the go-to-market strategy and develop enterprise features, as current use cases include web, mobile, blockchain, AI, and automation apps."

The Stratulat Albulescu team included Partner Cristina Man and Associate Adriana Ion.
