DLA Piper has advised Axel Johnson on its acquisition of La Fantana from Oresa and CEO Cristian Amza. RTPR, working with A&O Shearman, advised the sellers.
Axel Johnson is a privately owned Swedish industrial group.
La Fantana is a Romania water-cooler company in Romania.
According to DLA Piper, Cristian Amza retains a 10% stake and the CEO position.
The DLA Piper team included Romania-based Country Managing Partner Marian Dinu, Partners Oana Dutu-Buzura and Alina Lacatus, Counsels Cristina Bucur, Sandra Cahu, Razvan Pele, and Georgiana Stan, Senior Associate Denisa Achim-Postea, and Managing Associate Noemi Popa as well as further lawyers from the UK, the US, and the Netherlands.
