Ellex has advised Baltic venture capital fund Superangel on its investment in Kraken Technology Group.
Kraken Technology Group is a UK-based maritime defense innovator developing next-generation uncrewed surface vessels. According to Ellex, Kraken’s funding round attracted participation from several prominent institutions, including the NATO Innovation Fund and the UK’s National Security Strategic Investment Fund. The fresh capital injection will support Kraken’s scaling of production, acceleration of R&D, and global expansion.
Earlier this year, Ellex advised Superangel on its participation in the USD 20 million series A round for Labrys (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on June 12, 2025). In 2021, Ellex advised on Superangel's investment in Ringo Eco (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on November 12, 2021), in FleetGuru (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on July 22, 2021), in ParcelSea (reported by CEE Legal Matters on May 11, 2021), and in Vok Bikes (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on January 25, 2021).
