Before joining Gugushev & Partners, Gugusheva was a Prosecutor at the Supreme Cassation Prosecution between 2017 and 2024. Earlier, she was with the Appellate Specialized Prosecutor's Office-Sofia as a Deputy Appellate Prosecutor between 2012 and 2017 and as a Prosecutor between 2011 and 2012. Earlier still, she was a Prosecutor at the District Prosecutor's Office-Sofia between 2006 and 2011 and was also with the Regional Prosecutor's Office-Kazanlak as a Deputy District Prosecutor between 1994 and 2006, a Prosecutor between 1993 and 1994, and as a Junior Prosecutor between 1991 and 1993. She began her career as a Trainee-Judge at District Court of Stara Zagora in 1991.
