Pekin & Pekin, working with Baker Botts, has advised the International Finance Corporation on a USD 550 million sustainability-linked loan extended to Turkiye Sise ve Cam Fabrikalari.
According to Pekin & Pekin, the financing ranks among the largest sustainability-linked transactions in Turkiye’s glass manufacturing and packaging sector and is designed to support Sisecam’s growth and decarbonization plans. The loan links financial incentives to environmental performance indicators and will facilitate reductions in air-quality impacts as well as capacity expansion and cold repairs across the company’s flat-glass operations.
