DLA Piper has advised Knorr-Bremse Rail Vehicle Systems on the sale of its overhaul business in Romania to Grampet Logistics.
Knorr-Bremse is a German manufacturer of braking systems for rail and commercial vehicles.
Grampet Logistics is part of the Grampet Group. The latter is a railway company and private logistics operator.
According to DLA Piper, the transaction represents a strategic step for Knorr-Bremse as it restructures certain activities in the region.
The DLA Piper team included Bucharest-based Counsel Bogdan Buta and Managing Associate Andrei Dragan as well as Munich-based Partner Gerald Schumann and Associate Lukas Reitebuch.
