Wolf Theiss has announced the addition of six new Partners through the promotions of Hungary-based Norbert Balint, Austria-based Johann Hwezda, Christopher Juenger, and Eva Stadler, and Poland-based Marcin Rudnik, as well as Romania-based Claudia Popescu joining the team.

Balint is a member of the Energy team in the firm's Budapest office. He has been with the firm since 2008, when he joined as a Junior Associate. He became an Attorney at Law in 2012, a Senior Associate in 2015, and a Counsel in 2020.

Hwezda is part of the Wolf Theiss Public Procurement team in Vienna. He has been with Wolf Theiss since 2014, when he joined as an Associate. He was promoted to Senior Associate in 2017 and Counsel in 2019. Earlier, he worked as an Associate for Siemer Siegl Fuereder & Partner from 2013 to 2014 and for Fellner Wratzfeld & Partner from 2012 to 2013.

Vienna-based Juenger is a member of the Corporate/M&A team. He has been with Wolf Theiss since 2020, when he joined as an Associate before becoming a Senior Associate in 2021 and Counsel in 2023. Earlier, he worked as an Associate for Schoenherr from 2017 to 2020.

Stadler has been a member of the Tax team in Vienna since 2010, when she joined as an Associate. In 2014, she was promoted to Senior Associate and, in 2018, to Counsel.

Rudnik is a member of the Wolf Theiss Dispute Resolution, IP & TMT, and Competition & Antitrust teams in Warsaw. He has been with the firm since 2013, when he joined as a Senior Associate, and was promoted to Counsel in 2020. Earlier, he worked for Beiten Burkhardt as an Associate from 2006 to 2012.

Finally, Popescu joined Wolf Theiss Bucharest-based Corporate/M&A team. Before the move, she worked for Kinstellar as a Counsel from 2024 to 2025 and, earlier still, for CMS as a Senior Associate from 2001 to 2024.

“The promotion of five of our colleagues to Partner and the addition of a new Partner from the market demonstrate the strength of our talent pipeline and our dedication to sustainable growth," said Managing Partner Sebastian Oberzaucher. "Recognising and promoting our own lawyers is a key part of our long-term strategy and we are equally pleased to welcome new perspectives that further enhance our capabilities to service our clients across the region.”
