Oppenheim, Bogdanffy and Kimmel, and Wolf Theiss Advise on Uniqa Biztosito's Minority Acquisition of HUNBenefit

Oppenheim has advised the Hungarian subsidiary of the Uniqa Group, Uniqa Biztosito, on the acquisition of a minority shareholding in HUNBenefit from Hungarikum Biztositasi Alkusz. Bogdanffy and Kimmel advised Hungarikum Biztositasi Alkusz. Wolf Theiss advised Hungarikum Group on merger clearance aspects.

Hungarikum Biztositasi Alkusz is a Hungary-based insurance intermediary. According to Oppenheim, the transaction establishes a joint venture structure through which Uniqa aims to restructure and adapt its insurance intermediary model in response to evolving market trends. 

The Oppenheim team included Partner Jozsef Bulcsu Fenyvesi and Senior Counsels Agnes Szaz and Barna Fazekas.

The Bogdanffy and Kimmel team included Partner Peter Bogdanffy and Associates Mate Horvat and Rebeka Farkas.
