Kyriakides Georgopoulos has advised Avis Budget Greece on the EPC agreement for a new 150/33-kilovolt high-voltage substation with a capacity of 90-110 megavolt-amperes.

According to KG, the substation forms a core component of Avis Budget Greece’s energy investment program. It will enable the grid interconnection of a battery energy storage system currently under development by the company, one of the first such projects expected to become operational in Greece, and will also facilitate the connection of future BESS and renewable energy projects.

The KG team included Senior Partner Gus Papamichalopoulos and Senior Associates Konstantinos Varelas and Tryfonia Angelidou.

Kyriakides Georgopoulos could not provide additional information on the matter.
