Sorainen has advised Cyberbit in its acquisition of an Estonian-founded cyber training platform RangeForce.

Cyberbit is a US-based cybersecurity company with Israeli roots.

"While Cyberbit focuses on live exercises that simulate realistic cyberattacks, RangeForce offers cloud-based training for individuals and teams," the Sorainen press release stated. "By combining these two focus areas, the new entity has gained a strong international reach and is positioned to offer one of the most complete solutions on the market – starting with individual and team training, followed by readiness testing in realistic attack environments."

"By uniting two of the industry's leading cyber range platforms, we believe customers will now have access to an unprecedented breadth of content and highly realistic readiness experiences built around the same tools and environments they rely on every day," Cyberbit’s financial sponsor, Charlesbank Capital Partners Managing Director Darren Battistoni, commented.

The Sorainen team was led by Partner Toomas Prangli and Counsel Triin Ploomipuu and included Counsel Pirkko-Liis Harkmaa, Senior Associates Liisa Maria Kuuskmaa, Kamilla Alma Vilderson, and Verner Silm, Associate Karl Oskar Pungas, and Assistant Lawyer Ann Martina Simovart.
